Happy Holidays
Posted by ElPolloDiablo, December 19th 2003
Here's a funny "legally revised" merry christmas message I read, thought I'd share it with you:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for
an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress,
non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday,
practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion
of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the
religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice
not to practice religious or secular traditions at all...and a fiscally
successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition
of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2004, but not without
due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose
contributions to society have helped make America great (not to imply that
America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only
"America" in the Western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed,
color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual orientation of the
wishee.
This wish is limited to the customary and usual good tidings for a period
of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting,
whichever comes first. "Holiday" is not intended to, nor shall it be
considered, limited to the usual Judeo-Christian celebrations or
observances, or to such activities of any organized or ad hoc religious
community, group, individual or belief (or lack thereof).
Note: By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This
greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal, and is revocable at the
sole discretion of the wisher at any time, for any reason or for no reason
at all. This greeting is freely transferable with no alteration to the
original greeting. This greeting implies no promise by the wisher to
actually implement any of the wishes for the wishee her/himself or others,
or responsibility for the consequences which may arise from the
implementation or non-implementation of same. This greeting is void where
prohibited by law.

Well people, it seems I finally got my sorry butt around to doing something. That is I did something one night some time last week, but didn't upload the results until now. Although the new design was finished, and pretty much was already in the middle of June. I had yet to set up the new news system, although it still requires a bit of tweaking, I will most likely work on other pages. Hopefully I will get some time soon, but currently working on school stuff, and, uhm, sleep stuff. Well, you know. ;)

It might seem as if there has been very few updates lately, quite contrary there has been several small updates, we've just been a bit slow in the news department. Things added to the website:
Forum Chicken Soft theme with custom tables (The most important pages have been fixed).
Forum security and anti-spam related modifications.
A right side menu, only the news sections have one at the moment.
Error handling in scripts.
So you might have thought we've been lazy, not doing anything to these pages, but we have. And believe me, integrating the site design into the forums is quite hard.
Now for the BIG news, we've gone from 1 to 2 members.
Please welcome Rude to them team.
I've been waiting for some time for him to write a profile so he can officially join us, and he has now written one which you can read in the About Us section.

Chicken Soft has now got their very own forum,
and soon we will add a Chicken Soft scheme to it all.
Check it out.
Also, the merging of Phantasy Works Hosting and Insider Hosting seems to be going very well.
The nice people at Insider Hosting even gave us this month free of charge because of the migration process.
Everything has worked very well during migration, and the guys at Insider Hosting and PWH have both
been great at delivering information regarding the migration process and been very nice all along.
