Chickensoft

When Anders Ruud decided to join Chicken Soft February 15th 2003, he did NOT know what he was doing. He didn't know that this decision not only could, but also would change the rest of his life. He did not know, that what started out as a bullshit project between some friends, would evolve to THE most successful software company in the UNIVERSE, in only a few months time. He did not know that Chicken Soft's forthcoming slogan "Microsoft is the virus, and we are the cure", would cause Linux supporters all over the world to form religious groups, with El Pollo Diablo as their one and only god. And with this about-page as their bible. He did not know that people at his age, could get so disgustingly rich, so disgustingly fast. Not because people had to pay for ChickenSoftware*, but because they found our software so ingenious, that they paid for it anyway.
He did not know the capital of Uganda, but that's another story.

In fact, I think Anders Ruud were unsure about pretty much everything that evening. Apart from one thing. He knew, or at least he was pretty sure, that he had no reason whatsoever to join Chicken Soft. He was a not a skilled programmer, nor was he a skilled graphics artist. He had nothing to contribute with, except for crazy, perverted ideas. Anders Ruud had one big problem. He never finished what he started. He started coding many games, but they never reached beta 2, because when the time came to make the next version, he started on a new game instead. The unavoidable outcome: A big pile of unfinished games. The only game he ever finished, was in fact a game he made in Macromedia Flash, as a reply (or rather counter-attack) on a most obnoxious mail he had received earlier that day from a friend. The object of the game was to kill Anders' friend. Yes, the mail was THAT obnoxious. The only java-program that was almost close to completion, was a program called PimpPad. A program so unthinkably useless, that it deserved to be on this page, even if it wasn't a game. For more details, check the forthcoming programs-section.

Anders Ruud's roles in Chicken Soft:

Programmer (although his programming is a bit messy, he does know the Java programming language, so he'll be forced to program) Graphics-stealer (he really is good at stealing other games and websites graphics, and then using them in his own productions)
Crazy-perverted-idea producer (needs no further presentation)

Anders Ruud has many nicknames, but most of them are so bad, that I find it very, very unnecessary to write them here. Nowadays I go by the name of... "rude" (yes, all lower-case). Rude is not only a pretty good description of myself, but also my last name, only misspelled.
